Dr. Robert Michael Elliott is one of the world's most experienced physicians in the treatment of hair loss, whether male pattern baldness, female pattern baldness, or burned-out scarring alopecia such as pseudopelade or alopecia areata (see: www.elliotthair.com ).

He uses hair transplant surgery, medical treatment such as Propecia or Rogaine (minoxidil) or other means of hair restoration. The Elliott Medical Trichology and Trichologic Surgery Clinic (Elliott Clinic) does not offer wigs, hair pieces or weaves.

Hair restoration surgery methods include follicular unit/microtechnology hair transplantation, and follicular unit extraction (FOX or FUE). Donor sites are single-blade hand-formed by Dr. Elliott and closed with double sutures for fine-line donor scars. In Dr. Elliott's hands, FUE and donor strips result in equally small scar areas.
