Dr L. D. Dhami is practicing Cosmetic, Plastic & microSurgeon in Mumbai since 1986. He is attached to Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, as Consultant Plastic Surgeon since 1987. Dr. L. D. Dhami in known in his field as an innovator, a teacher and as a sought after cosmetic surgeon. He has been in the field of plastic surgery since 1981 and has qualified as M.Ch. (Plastic Surgeon) from University of Mumbai. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mumbai and his M.S. degree from the same university. During his residency, he was based at L. T. Medical College, Sion, Bombay & later at St. Lawrence Hospital, Chepstow, UK. Dr. L. D. Dhami did a certificate course in microSurgery as a Clinical Research Fellow at North wick Park Hospital, UK.

To be a member of The Association of Plastic Surgeon of India, a surgeon must complete an approved residency of at least three years after graduating from a medical school. That surgeon must then wait a minimum of three years complete another three years of residency, before sitting for extensive written and oral exams and qualify from a recognized University. The Association actually reviews all the application before granting membership. In addition to his private practice, at VASUDHAN Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Centre, Dr. L. D. Dhami is Consultant Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon at Dr. B. NANAVATI Hospital; At this Hospital he manages all Emergency cases including Microsurgery & Burns. He also participates in training new plastic surgeons at his centre & Nanavati Hospital. He is a member of many international, national and regional societies and is currently Executive committee Member of APSI. Dr. Dhami was introduced to Laser Surgery while attending Laser Workshops at National & international Conference, and has a strong interest in this field ever since. He is one of very few Cosmetic surgeons to be qualified & experienced to use Laser for Cosmetic Surgery. He has traveled extensively and has taught many plastic surgeons these techniques. Surgeons visit his ARJIN Cosmetic Laser Centre regularly to observe how these procedures are done.
