Rajesh Rajput is a pioneer of Hair Transplant Micrografting & Follicular Unit Transplants in India. He introduced the use of Microsurgery instruments & Plastic surgery instruments for atraumatic handling of hair follicles, which reduces injury during transplant.

Rajesh Rajput is also a pioneer of Cyclical Hair Treatment which stops hair fall, induces new hair growth, uses medicines once in three days, reduces cost of medication and guarantees no side effects.

He received Best Research Paper Award form the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, in Sept. 1994.

He is appreciated by a Special Certificate for the work on Artificial Hair Implants by the Japan Society for Hair Restoration Surgery, at Nagoya, Japan, in June 1998. Rajesh Rajput is also appointed as a Tutor by The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, for Basic Surgical Skills Course.
