Dr. Bosley is the Founder of Bosley Medical, based in Beverly Hills, California. Bosley Medical has 90 offices throughout the United States. Dr. Bosley personally performs hair restoration procedures in the group's busy Beverly Hills headquarters.

Dr. Bosley performed his first hair restoration procedure in private practice in 1963, when hair transplantation was in its infancy. Since then he has personally performed more than 32,500 hair restoration procedures, comprising more than five million individual transplant grafts.

In 1974, he founded Bosley Medical, a medical practice performing hair restoration exclusively. Dr. Bosley has helped innovate and pioneer many of the most advanced artistic and scientific techniques in use today. In 1979, the United States Government granted Dr. Bosley Registered Trademark protection for Micrograft®. His techniques of follicular micrografting and varigrafting have helped change the way the world looks at hair transplantation, by giving men and women soft, feathered living hairlines that look like their original hairlines.

Dr. Bosley is widely credited with bringing a keen focus on artistry and naturalness to hair restoration.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Nebraska, Dr. Bosley attended the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the age of 24. Following internship at Pierce County Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, Dr. Bosley volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, was commissioned as a Captain, and honorably discharged after six years of service.

Dr. Bosley performed his specialty training in Dermatology at the University of Oregon Medical Center, studying under the renowned Professor Walter C. Lobitz, Jr., M.D. He completed his residency training at the University of California Medical Center at San Francisco, studying under the world famous Professor Rees B. Rees, M.D. In 1964, Dr. Bosley was awarded Certified Diplomate status by the American Board of Dermatology, and became a Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at the University of California Medical Center at San Francisco.

Dr. Bosley is also a Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Cosmetic Surgery, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons and the American Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons.

Dr. Bosley actively practices in California and is also licensed in Idaho and Missouri.
